Body armor made of lacqur-coated metal, which was used by a Samurai or a Japanese Guard/soldier in the Edo or Meiji
era
.  (in the 19th century)
pretty good condition, But it has flaws , age marks in accordance with the item’s age.
Rust stains in some places
I think the item has been restored in the past
(the threads are relatively new).
