These were made to perfectly fit the cartridge only with no dustcover. If you would like NES cartridge protectors that fit the black dustcover also, buy the Nintendo DS box protectors. They fit those perfectly.
These gives the cartridge a very clean look and the size is absolutely perfect. The flaps are on the opposite side of the game label so you will have nothing in the way of the name of the game when they are put on your shelves!
